Too good to go waste-warriors want to minimize food waste.

Too Good To Go is an app that lets users sign up for meal boxes with leftover food that restaurants, hotels and bakeries would otherwise have thrown out. The user can order a meal box at a discounted price, which can then be picked up at a specific time.

Globally, nearly 1/3 of all food produced goes to waste – enough to feed 815 million people. Too Good To Go tackles a pressing issue as nearly 40% of food waste is generated by consumer-serving businesses like hotels and restaurants.

Furthermore, it has been found that just slightly over half of hotel buffet food actually ends up in the stomach of guests. Too Good to Go has partnered with 1319 hotels across Europe to save nearly a million hotel meals from going to waste. In total, Too Good To Go has saved more than 36 million meals from waste globally; equivalent to 90.000 tons of CO2 emissions saved.
