Hotel con Corazón is a social enterprise with hotels located in Oaxaca, Mexico and Granada, Nicaragua. Hotel con Corazón invests 100% of its profit in education for children in vulnerable positions. Furthermore, the hotel collaborates with Pack for a Purpose (see other idea in catalogue) to encourage visitors to bring needed goods to the community.
In Latin America, some 50% of youngsters do not finish high school. The Hotel con Corazón in Granada is the city’s best selling accommodation and it has helped more than 700 children finish school. The Hotels con Corazón have so far donated $380.000 to personalized tutoring programs, internships and scholarships.
By 2028, Hotel con Corazón plans to operate 15 hotels across Latin America and help at least 5.000 children finish school.
