Refill now – a network and interactive map of water refill stations

Refill Now is a service that aims to make the consumption and distribution of drinking water in tourism destinations more sustainable. The objective is to reduce the use of plastic water bottles by creating a global network of public and private refill water points easily findable on Refill Now’s online map.
Refill Now has equipped flyers, cards and its reusable bottles with QR-codes so users can quickly scan and find refill points on the interactive map – no app download needed. Refill Now mainly partners with hotels, restaurants, bars and tour operators in the destinations in order to expand the network of refill points, and to spread awareness about the possibility of refill and reuse when travelling.
Currently, the service is active in Italy with more than a thousand refill stations, and it will soon expand to other destinations such as Sweden and Barcelona.
